"a word from the Winemaker"
"We are striving to craft wines that display purity in regards to varietal and vineyard site characters, wines that have a deep soul and a sense of place.
We are also focussing on achieving mouth feel and texture as well as alluring complexity. Balance is imperative because if the components are all interwoven into the structure of the wine, then ultimately the wine will be more respectful towards food and will age more gracefully.
The mantra with our red winemaking is to achieve power and grace, harnessing the opulence that Dusty Hill is renowned for and incorporating style and poise"...Nick Pesudovs
"a word from the Viticulturist"
"We are firm believers in quality over quantity, and this philosophy underpins all of our South Burnett vineyard operations.
Our South Burnett vineyard is set up for minimal cropping, with a heavy pruning during the winter to help keep down yields, and aims at producing less than two tonnes of fruit per acre, thus maximizing the flavours in our berries"...Joe Prendergast
